Biography
Mrs. Aishwarya Doshi Shah, Founder of Avya Legal Advisors, brings nearly a decade of deep, hands-on expertise across banking and finance, insolvency, debt restructuring, corporate transactions, real estate finance, development documentation, dispute resolution, and white-collar crime. She has built a reputation for her strategic insight, strong commercial acumen, and ability to deliver decisive, enforceable and time-bound legal solutions to corporates, institutions, lenders, investors, high-net-worth individuals and family offices.
Before establishing Avya Legal Advisors, she served in senior capacities within the legal team at IIFL Finance Limited, one of India’s leading NBFCs. She spearheaded high-stakes corporate real estate litigation and enforcement matters involving portfolios exceeding INR 800 to 1000 crores, and played a pivotal role in an international arbitration while also representing the company before officials of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in complex white-collar investigations.
Prior to her tenure at IIFL, she was part of the Resolution Team at Pegasus Assets Reconstruction Pvt. Ltd., where she handled recovery strategy, security enforcement and insolvency-driven restructuring for distressed loan portfolios. Her work contributed to strengthening creditor rights and streamlining enforcement outcomes in challenging, high-value matters.
In her early legal grounding was shaped through substantive internships and paralegal experience with leading law firms including Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, IC Universal Legal, Samvad Partners, Little & Co., and HSA Advocates, giving her well-rounded exposure to both corporate and litigation practice from the formative stages of her career.
Her focus on meticulous drafting, sharp analytical judgment and an outcome-oriented approach has built a reputation for delivering clarity, structure and strategic direction in complex legal matters.
